Our butchers shop boasts a large curved display counter which is filled every day with a

mouth watering selection of steak pies, scotch pies, mince rounds, haggis, black puddings, beef steaks and roasting joints, lamb & pork chops, plain sausages, flavoured sausages, Ayrshire bacons, various stir-fries, curries, casseroles, stroganoffs and other oven ready dishes.

Most of our products are made using our family recipes, some from my great uncle, my grandfather, my uncle and my father, all master butchers, which include our famed Haggis, black, mealy and fruit puddings, steak pies, sausages and dry cured bacons as well as pickled tongues, brisket, various bacons & real beef ham.

Gold found in Troon

 Confirmation has come this week that local steak pies are up there amongst the best in the country. The Steak pie from Troon butcher Charles Duncan savoured success in this years Scottish Butchers Traditional steak Pie Competition. When the prizes were presented this week Duncan’s pie proved to have risen with perfection to be acclaimed the best in the South West of Scotland. Charles Duncan was presented with his title by David Mooney of sponsors William Sword at the champions award ceremony in the hall of Seven Incorporated Trades of Aberdeen on Wednesday 7th. October.
